In order to create a user account, visitors are required to provide their first and last name, their email address, and may also be asked their country, postal code and phone number. This information is used to:
- verify the legitimacy of the registration or subscription (for more information, see "Communications From This Site"); and
- To set up the user account in our system – this has the following purposes:
- to identify the user when they log into Neurogizers.com
to allow the user to validate any Neurogizer that they have downloaded
- to track user game scores and ranking
- to customize their experience based on what games or products they have purchased
- to allow the user to volunteer their game scores to neurogizers.com for publication in the High Scores area
- contact the member should an issue arise with their product order or their user account;
- if approval is given by the user, to inform them of new and/or related product offerings in which they may be interested (see "Sharing"); and
- geographical information, when collected, is done so for our own research purposes and is not connected to users’ Personally Identifiable Information following its collection.
During registration, members also have the option to subscribe to receive additional newsletters and communications from Neurogizers.com.
Users may elect to submit their game score to neurogizers.com for publication inside the High Scores area. Users may select a username to be attached to their score. Any information provided here is voluntary and will be viewable by other Neurogizer players.
Information provided by the user may be used by the company's marketing team to further customize the user’s experience of the site, and to better target information, games, tools and offerings. Such information may, on occasion, be passed in aggregate form (non-personally identifiable) to third parties (see "Sharing" for more information).
Information such as name and email address is required when users submit a ticket to our support desk. This information is required so that the customer care team may respond to that query, and the member may track the progress of their complaint online. The information collected is used solely for purpose of resolving the member’s complaint or query.
Company employees are allowed access into users accounts for the purpose of servicing users accounts and support queries.
We may, on occasion, present users with the option of selecting to tell friends about Neurogizers.com. If the user elects to use our Refer-a-Friend service for passing on information about our website to another person, we ask the referrer for their friend’s first name and email address for the purpose of sending the friend a one-time email containing a link to our website. The communication sent will include an explanation of how the friend came to receive the email and a link to our support desk if they have any concerns. Mark Joyner, Inc stores the information collected via this tool on a log file, but does not use it for any purpose other than to send this one-time email.
User accounts are created when a subscription is entered into by the visitor for access to the Neurogizer games. Following the first payment, the user is sent a confirmation and welcome email confirming their successful subscription, and instructions on where to login to access the games.
For every requested communication sent to members, we present an unsubscribe option.
